What if I forget my login credentials?

Upon first login users are taken through a series of steps that require them to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). This includes students, faculty and staff. These steps require the user to link a phone number with their account, or to download a smartphone authentication app to provide added account security. MFA is not optional. MFA is required of all accounts. These MFA settings are likewise used to provide one means of password reset.

Users can also contact the 24×7 HelpDesk for assistance in resetting their password. Users call the 24×7 HelpDesk, answer a few questions and verify their identity and are then permitted to reset their password. This is done through the Microsoft Admin Center.
